with the new year in full swing, i’ve finally settled into my routine. gone are the hectic events of the holidays & daily activities are back in place. the past few months brought a lot of changes, & with that came some new favorites- from gummy candies i had never tried to a favorite piece of arm candy from my bf. here a few of my current favorite things- a little mix of new & old.

fall feel.

hallelujah. there’s been a breeze in the air. it’s far from chilly yet, but the 90 degree weather has been replaced with temperatures in the 80′s. and this lady is a happy camper. working in retail, it’s been fall for me for the last few weeks- maxis and flips swapped for cardigans and heeled booties. and while we still have a ways to go, i’m looking forward to the crisp chill of autumn. here are a few glimpses into my favorite time of year:

for the past few years i’ve been really into potato vodka- specifically chopin. i like it very cold, on the rocks, with a lemon wedge. it’s delicious and pretty foolproof- not to mention it takes a little longer to drink which is good for everyone involved. unfortunately, my liquor store was all out this past weekend, leaving me to peruse the other options. there weren’t many in the way of potato libations, but i had heard of luksosowa, and it came highly recommended… frankly, its cheaper than chopin and just as delicious… and just as unlikely to give me a hangover, which i fully enjoy. the downside? it can be difficult to find at your average bar… but definitely try this at home.
