something old.

{these pretty little blue boxes {with the perfect satin ribbon} are my go-to table accent}

after a summer of fun with my younger sister, the time has come to say goodbye. my little lady is off to her final year at college {lucky girl} and i am left to strictly co-habitate with henry & sookie once again. i’m sad to lose my partner in crime, but alas, all good things must come to an end. in effort to keep busy in my now echoing apartment, i took to a little reorganizing & redecorating. and while i thought switching over my summer & fall wardrobes would take days {premature, i know, but a girl can dream} in reality, it took less than an hour. leaving me lots of time to fill various nooks & crannies in little sis’s former room. in an effort to remain wallet friendly, and truthfully due to the late hour, i chose to use recycled accents to brighten up the now empty space- think lots of lanvin & hermes boxes, past editions & artwork from past lives… here are a few images from the work in progress:

feathered.

we had a lot of fun in the city this past weekend. and its safe to say a little too much fun at hermes, according to my wrists. the feathered and indian inspired bangles are the best i’ve seen in a while… so, naturally, i had no choice but to add them to the collection. welcome to the fam, pretty little feathered things.

happy monday.

finally caving- good jam. happy monday.

fall feel.

hallelujah. there’s been a breeze in the air. it’s far from chilly yet, but the 90 degree weather has been replaced with temperatures in the 80′s. and this lady is a happy camper. working in retail, it’s been fall for me for the last few weeks- maxis and flips swapped for cardigans and heeled booties. and while we still have a ways to go, i’m looking forward to the crisp chill of autumn. here are a few glimpses into my favorite time of year:
