in the post-coachella weeks i typically find myself perusing images from festival- drooling over the outfits, envious of the debauchery, and envisioning myself there at the next one… this year, as per usual, i started a coachella wardrobe wishlist- a floppy hat, more maxis, cropped top {if i make it to spin 4 days a week until memorial day} and the coolest new pair of wayfarers around by westward leaning.
based off the traditional wayfarer, westward leaning has created the perfect version of the iconic shape. with 9 variations, each style has the same frame however features its own name, story, and unique material inlaid at the temple to signify the style’s respective social issue. and the best part {besides looking awesome}? a portion of the proceeds are donated to each style’s cause. and while, sadly, the castro is currently sold out, love the neighbor will have to be next on my list…
