it’s been a while since i’ve made a “few of my favorite things” post… so i thought i’d update y’all on the things i’m currently loving. besides my past weekend in the hamptons, of which i have no pictures because i was {apparently} too busy enjoying to document. i promise to get on it next time. until then, here are a few snapshots into my heart:

flipping through a recent copy of new york magazine i stumbled upon an article about zach braff’s (random) nyc apartment… and instantly fell in love. while it is a little on the masculine side, i love the rustic meets urban feel. and the dining room is pretty much to die for. zach braff is cool. who knew?

with the past few days filled with may showers… and the forecast predicting rain for the next several days… i’m starting to get the feeling that this holiday weekend will likely consist more of indoor games {drinking or otherwise} and less poolside tanning. and while i was hoping to fill my hamptons-ready suitcase with bikinis and short shorts rather than comfy cropped jeans and trench coats, i’ve thrown in the towel and started to research some wardrobe ideas to last us through these rainy days:
